The order of the year is always changing, and the chapter is new day by day. In 2023, in the face of the complex and severe external environment and the cyclical reality of the industry's involution intensification, with the strong support of Huizhou Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, the SASAC and other departments, Desay Corporation gathers its strength, plans the layout, firmly moves forward, and is expected to achieve sales revenue of 48.3 billion yuan, an increase of about 15% year-on-year, and maintains the steady operation and continuous improvement of competitiveness. On the occasion of the New Year, on behalf of the board of directors and management team of Desay Corporation, I would like to extend our high respect and heartfelt thanks to every Desay staff who has worked hard and the family members who have supported us behind. I would like to express our best wishes and heartfelt thanks to the leaders, partners, customers and friends from all walks of life who care and support the development of Desay.
 
In 2023, we adhered to strategic investment, took greater steps in strategic layout, and constantly built new growth engines. Firmly investing in the future would bring bright future for ourselves. In this year, the Corporation has invested over 6 billion yuan in technological research and development, fixed assets and other aspects, maintaining a high growth rate at a high starting point. In this year, the new energy battery industry rights issue was successful, raising 1.8 billion yuan, and comprehensively improving the market competitiveness and anti-risk ability of the industry. In this year, industrial bases were built and put into operation one after another. In China, Hunan Desay Battery energy storage cell project has been put into production; Desay SV Huinan Industrial Park Phase II Plant and Desay SIP Tonghu Base has been completed and put into use; Desay Battery Huinan Industrial Park Phase II project has started construction, and Desay SV Central and Western Base project has started construction. In abroad, Desay SV Mexico Factory and Desay Battery Vietnam Manufacturing Base completed. All these were to build a broader platform for industrial development and business startups.
 
In 2023, adhering to the core focus, we decisively forged ahead, tackled difficulties together and firmly promoted industrial transformation and upgrading. The automotive electronics industry implemented "Shenglong Plan" to continuously optimize internal operations, continued to maintain a high growth trend, and the overall performance has reached a record high. Its intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving business has been recognized by more mainstream car companies. Its network service has successfully broken through high-end customers. Desay SV was awarded the chain master enterprise of "Intelligent Network Car Industrial Chain" in Guangdong Province. In the face of the industry stock game and intensified competition, the new energy battery industry has been tackling difficulties, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, consolidating the base business, and fully exploring new businesses such as energy storage and SIP system-in packaging to enhance the development resilience and momentum. The precision industry focused on business, efficient operation, and firm implementation to maintain business stability. The photoelectric industry has kept improving the level of lean manufacturing and increasing the international market development. The intelligent manufacturing industry strengthened the foundation and kept seeking a turning point.
 
In 2023, we united staff’s mind with culture and gathered strength via talents, promoted inheriting and innovation, and passed experience down from generation to generation. The 40th anniversary of the establishment of Desay Corporation was held, and the municipal Party Committee fully affirmed the achievements and contributions made by Desay in the past 40 years. The Corporation paid tribute to 22 retired leaders and comrades during the ceremony, which became a great cultural event for Desay staff to witness the past achievements and honors, pay tribute to the power of example, and gather the spirit of dedication. The "Five Cultures" have been promoted, inherited and passed down via various cultural events such as Desay Culture Going Abroad, Cultural Leadership Cultivation, cultural team building and so on. The Corporation formulated financial system strategy, held high-level financial training courses, and systematically improved the comprehensive abilities of the financial team. The "Talent Project" blossomed and flourished with the fifth session of the Corporation's Development Talents, Desay SV’s Overseas Talent Empowerment, Desay Battery’s Jinghe Talent Training Camp, Desay SIP’s Cross-border Engineer Training and so on.
 
Forty years of spring and autumn witnessed forty years of unity for going afar. After 40 years of baptism and sharpening, Desay has formed a development pattern of two core industries and two listing platforms, forged a group of combat-capable management teams at all levels, kept a healthy and sustainable operating net profit and cash flow, and maintained a good development trend. Standing at a new starting point of 40 years, we have confidence, determination, and patience to pursue firm growth, go through the cycle, and compete for being first-class across the century.
 
Standing at a new starting point of the 40th Anniversary, we must have a grateful heart. We are grateful to the great times and Huizhou, a hot land for entrepreneurship, for having created Desay. We are grateful for the care, love, strong support and full trust given to Desay by successive Huizhou Municipal Committee and municipal governments. We are grateful to Desay staff’s perseverance and hard work from generation to generation, so that the cause of Desay gradually grow and flourish. We are grateful to Desay as an excellent career platform, so that our team today has a broad stage. For enterprises, any technology, product has its life cycle, but only culture is endless. We must adhere to the core values and "Five Cultures" of Desay, insist that culture is the first long-term competitiveness of the enterprise, and work together to build Desay into a sunny, positive, standardized and trusted business platform.
 
Standing at the new starting point of the 40th Anniversary, we must have a humble heart. In a brand new cycle, today's era is changing every day. In the tide of great changes in the Times, we must keep a humble heart, a clean mind and a clear head to go further. Only by embracing change and daring to innovate can we avoid being drowned by the flood of the Times. Only by effectively controlling risks, strengthening compliance management and continuously improving operational efficiency can we lay a solid foundation for future development. We must keep the principles of simplicity, pragmatism and integrity to constantly improve the governance, operation and management mechanisms with the Times. No matter how far we go, we must not forget the road we came here. We have come to this day through unity and hard work, and we will certainly create a better future through it.
 
Standing at a new starting point of the 40th Anniversary, we must be more enterprising. The baton of Desay's cause has been handed over to today's generation, and we must continue to maintain the spirit of entrepreneurship and dedication. Adhering to long-term thinking and growth, We must more firmly invest in the future, science and technology, and talent, so that more young and outstanding talents in the Desay platform can grasp more growth opportunities and fully display their talents. Today, Desay already has this long-term growth and relay running power. We will persist in taking root in Huizhou, and layout the world, being not afraid of challenges and brave to "go abroad", and accelerate the layout and growth of international business. For the future, we should aim high and be more aggressive. In the next ten years, our goal is that the sales revenue will exceed 200 billion yuan by 2033, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Desay. The intelligent automotive electronics industry shall rank among the international first-class and the world's first square. The new energy battery industry shall gain a leading position and advance to the first phalanx in China in the field of consumer lithium batteries and new fields such as energy storage batteries and SIP system-in packaging.
 
There is no best environment, only the best action and the best self. Though the road ahead is dangerous and difficult, we can only achieve our goals with constant efforts. We must press ahead with a sense of perseverance to expect a better future. Desay carries our common hope and future. Let us forge ahead with unity and create a new chapter of development!
